In an interview for ABC7, Patricia Heaton, who will play Frankie in the new series, was interviewed about the hit night show “The Middle”.

If the name rings some bells, just a quick reminder – she won two Emmy awards for the role in the hit “Everybody loves Raymond” and was nominated another seven times. Now you remember, don’t you? She was Debra. Of course during the years she played in many more productions such as the comedy series “Back to you”, “Room for Two”, the Hallmark’s “Front of the Class”, “Women of the House” and “Someone like me”. She also has played some theatre roles in the meantime, including Stella in “The Scene” by Theresa Rebeck. That role brought her Lortel Award nomination.

She is not only an actress of course. Some films she produced are “The engagement ring” and “The path to 9/11”. She also took part in “Memoirs of the Invisible Man”, “Beethoven”, “new Age” and “Space Jam”.

But wait, that’s not all, apart from her acting and producing experience she is also a writer.

And she is not just a writer, but bestselling author. Her book “Motherhood and Hollywood – How to Get a Job like Mine” is in few bestsellers lists, including the prestige New York Times’.

With such acting history, she is highly skilled professional and every movie or series she is in is a quality one. Of course she shines in comedies, such as “The Middle”.

In the interview she shares some information about the series and talks about her past experience in her long and rich acting biography. The host of ABC7 show, Hosea Sanders, made the interview both interesting and entertaining in her usual style.

In “The middle” she is accompanied by Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue, Atticus Shaffer as Brick and Chris Kattan as Bob. Check ABC at Wednesday evenings to watch them in “The Middle”. The expectations for this season of the show are high and with such actor selection they will most probably be met.
