The Middle is an American comedy series which focuses on a typical life of a middle- class family in a small town of Indiana. This hit comedy series premiered on ABC n the 30^th of September 2009.

The show is about Frankie Heck, a middle-class Midwestern woman and her husband Mike Heck who lives in Orson for their entire lives together with their children. Their family is struggling to make ends meet. Frankie is always under pressure in selling cars while her husband is an ironic manager at a quarry. Frankie may not be the most successful saleswoman but when it comes to her family she will definitely do whatever it takes to make it better. She has three children who are very unlikely to one another.

The story centers on the following characters:

• Frankie Heck played by actress Patricia Heaton is a least successful car saleswoman and a stressed housewife
• Mike Heck portrayed by actor Neil Flynn is Frankie’s husband and a manager at a quarry and he is also known for his dull honesty
• Axl Heck played by actor Charlie Mc Dermott the rebellious, athletic, semi-nudist and lazy teenage son of Frankie and Mike
• Sue Heck portrayed by actress Eden Sher is a the optimistic and determined middle and only daughter of Mike and Frank
• Brick Heck played by Atticus Shaffer is the youngest child of the couple who is very smart and loves to read books, but apparently forgetful about his homework
• Bob portrayed by actor Chris Kattan is the frequently described as a feeling alone person and Frankie’s best friend at work
• Don Ehlert played by actor Brian Doyle-Murray is the employer of Frankie and Bob

Because of the unusual happening in the lives of each member of the family, this comedy series became a hit to its spectaculars. There are many positive comments about the funny story of this family. Patricia Heaton who also plays the role of Debra Barone, wife of Ray Barone in Everybody Loves Raymond delivers a persuasive role as Frankie. And Neil Flynn also heightens the comedy in the series because of his humorous acting. The Middle 3.18 “Leap Year” Review

It was really surprising that mike had revealed a fact that had shocked the whole family of Hecks. With the leap day to be close approaching and hence an important event is to be celebrated: birthday of Sue. She herself asked Frankie to organize a surprise party. But in reply he said to keep this year as simple as possible. It is the Justin Bieber tickets got recently for which this sacrifice has to be performed. But who can dare to stop her was proved by her small wink at Frankie.

Brick seems to be the best in any episodes you choose and this week was too the same. The new person that has entered in his life or rather his social skill class is a girl that every boy of his class has fallen for. Though she at first seemed to be quite normal but latter both Frankie and Brick had found her to be a hard nut to crack.

The sad part of this episode is as Brick was getting more close to her just then the social skill classes were being cancelled. The budget cut was made responsible which the students have decided to raise the money by a car wash fundraiser. This would help them to pay some extra to the janitor for keeping the building open for a longer time. But Frankie had a tough time as he was assigned to do the whole work with the cars were found to be much filthy than ever before.

Though it is the sports’ time but Axl seems to be spending the time in lying around or even vacuuming the house. This was continued till the end of the episode doing in a way exactly like his mom. It was those bread crumbs that Frankie had left on the ground thus annoying Axl.

As mentioned earlier, mike had a pet cat kept at the quarry for nearly 7 years. Whenever you see him, he seems to be the most tough guy but the whole show vanishes when his cat gets ill thus forcing him to contact the vet but the cat had spend the last few moments in his hands within a few days visit to the doctor. Though he was trying to keep to himself, it was Frankie that was trying to pull out those emotions from inside.

To get both the happy and sad flavour of this episode, we turn our vision to Sue who had spent the whole day just to get hold of a big party. Though it was no fault of Frankie as he was busy with the cat and its mystery to be plotted out, he had managed to gather the kids early 4 at the morning and organize the party which actually a surprise for Sue.
